What do you love about Catholic Education?

I am a product of Catholic education and now getting the privilege to work at a Catholic school, I know the commitment it takes from everyone on board. We are all at 完美的心 because we believe in the community and in this place. The dedication that I see from parents and faculty to ensure our students succeed is incredible. We all want to be here and we can't get enough!

What is your favorite school tradition?

My favorite school tradition is Mary's Day. It is such a creative, beautiful day where the entire school community gathers together to honor Mary. From the activities, dancing and even the decoration, I believe it truly shows the spirit of IHHS.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words “The WALK”?

The first thing that comes to mind is Ms. Morris breaking her foot! Then I pray for a successful event and that everyone has fun.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

The courtyard between the Library Building and the Auditorium Building is my favorite spot on campus. TO me, that central location is the heart of campus. I know whenever I walk over there, I am guaranteed to see a friendly face studying, 吃午饭, or even just sitting and enjoying one another's company.

What is a must read book that you recommend to all your students?

In graduate school, I was assigned Viktor E. Frankl的 Man's 搜索 for Meaning, and I wish I had read it sooner. It proves how powerful our mindset can be and it reminds me that even in the face of the unimaginable, we are resilient and stronger than we know.
